If You Really Knew the Answer

No matter what your individual questions may be, you have the answers you seek. You have the key, but are you willing to use it; to put it in the lock and turn it?

Using the “key” implies change and we fear change and the unknown more than death (but not as much as public speaking!). We don’t want to end relationships but we want to stop hurting when we are in them. We don’t want to stay on a job that is not right for us, but we don’t want to let go of the paycheck that comes with it. We don’t want to learn something new if it means walking down a path whose end we are unsure of.

I’ve been acting as a Mentor for author and healer Denise Linn’s new Hay House course, “Soul Coaching® Oracle Card Reader Certification and you might think I encourage people to go to other’s for a psychic reading. But the Soul Coaching® Oracle Card Deck is a different sort of card. Each card features a different quality like Silence, Beauty, Embracing and so on. They are not simply for psychic readings where someone else tells you about your future. This is a perfect tool for drawing out the answers that are inside of you.

There are other ways to do it as well. Journaling is one of the best ways to find your own answers, as are any creative projects. Your dreams are another excellent resource for knowing your truth and dream incubation can further help you find your own answers. Meditation is another way to make the space for the answers to come to you. Have you meditated lately? Just sit down and start breathing.

You really do know all the answers and by “you” I mean your Higher Self; the part of you that knows all of you on a soul level. So take some time to quiet your ego, go into the silence and listen. Rumi, the great Sufi poet, said, “Remember, the entrance door to the sanctuary is inside you.” And so it is. Find the key, put it in the lock and turn it.
