Martine's interest in organic and healthy living was cultivated from an early age growing up in a family whose passion for food was inspired by her Italian background and; a plentiful garden. The dinner table whether with family or friends was the place where ideas emerged, politics were shared and debates ensued.
Always a pioneer and entrepreneur, Martine has spent years developing her skills in research and marketing new concepts. In 1997 she spearheaded the introduction of alternative fibers and fashion to North American markets and in 2000 created her first brand of organic foods.
In 2005 Martine embarked on publishing Organic Lifestyles Magazine which blends all aspects of organic living including health, environment and politics. She has interviewed many eco-celebrities including Mariel Hemingway, Marsha Mason and Philippe Cousteau as well as experts in today's issues such as Richard Heinberg on peak oil and Dr. Helen Caldicott on nuclear energy. Martine has been published in a number of health and wellness publications and is now embarking on sharing her gift in the kitchen as a forum for debate and discussion through various media outlets.
