Are flaxseed and wheat germ good to have daily?


Q: I put flaxseed and wheat germ in my cereal every day. Is this a good idea?

A: Both flaxseed and wheat germ are excellent fiber sources. Flax provides certain fibers that detoxify your body from excess cholesterol and fat. Wheat germ is rich in B complex for nervous system support. It's wise to rotate all ingredients to avoid developing allergies, so take a short break from both every once in a while.
