Q. What is the natural way to treat H-Pylori virus? -Vera

A: Helicobacter Pylori is a bacteria rather than a virus. The spiral shaped bacterium drills through the stomach's mucosal lining neutralizing stomach acid and creating an ulcer. H. pylori can be identified via a blood test and is often treated with antibiotics and/or a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). H. Pylori and ulcers may be treated naturally. Manuka honey has natural antibiotic properties. Taken orally, 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey three to four times daily for about six months will naturally destroy h. pylori bacteria. To coat and heal the stomach lining, aloe vera gel, or juice, can be taken twice daily. In addition, reduce dietary protein (protein causes release of gastric acids which aggravate ulcers) and take digestive enzymes without hydrochloric acid to aid digestion.
