  • Try some hydration-electrolyte powder or fruit infused waters.
  • Cut up fruit is always a great option to replenish electrolytes
  • Make your own freezies from teas and naturally sweetened juices
  • First-aid kit with arnica, bandages and tape
  • All a few peppermint oil drops for smelly shoes

Picnic

  • Pack an assortment of salads: Green salad, fruit salad and/r pasta salad
  • Bagged veggies are a great option since they are pre-cut and pre-washed
  • Place basil, thyme, and mint around the picnic blanket to repel bugs
  • Set the picnic blanket up near plants that attract butterflies like Sage, Butterfly Bushes and Day Lilies

Beach Bag

  • Finger foods are always good because if their food falls in the sand, they won't lose their whole sandwich
  • Sprinkle some baking soda onto your skin and wipe it off to remove the sand
  • Always use a mineral based sunscreen
