A friend of mine just gave me a bag of bee pollen (my friends gives me very fun and interesting gifts!). It's from a local organic market. I've heard of it before, and even picked it up to look at it in stores, but never really gave it a second thought or tried it. Can you give me some information about this? Like, what it's good for, how to ingest it/how often and when? I have never been stung by a bee, so I have no idea if I have an allergy to them or the pollen. Is there a way to test this beforehand? Thanks! -Sue

I have been interested for a while in taking natural supplements. I don't take any vitamins or anything that nourish my body. I also have digestive problems, I'm overweight and I really want to get back in shape and start feeling healthy full of energy. I know that the best way to be healthy is to take natural supplements but with all kinds of stuff on the market I don't know where to start... Can you help me get started on what to take to start feeling HEALTHY.....? -Claudia

My family has been taking supplements for many years. We've been taking 1000 mgs of D, 400 IU of E and 10,000 IU of vitamin A everyday. Since we live in a northern latitude, I feel it is important to include these supplements with calcium, magnesium, selenium, zinc, vitamin C, etc. Our new homeopathic doctor recently told us she believes taking D, A, and E are unnecessary because they store up in the liver. She feels this is part of a supplement fad and that we are overdosing on A, D and E which could damage our livers. What is your opinion?

What are the benefits of using protein powder? Who should use these products? Do they contain unnecessary or unhealthy ingredients?
