Lisa has over 11 years of experience in the professional food industry. She has a culinary degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York as well as a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Business.
After discovering her own food allergies Lisa quickly became annoyed with being “that person” at the table who ordered everything on the side (remember Sally from “When Harry Met Sally”?). As food allergies and alternative eating styles (gluten free etc …) became more popular, Lisa embraced her dietary restrictions and began to implement all different tastes and textures with local, organic food.
