Alma Natural Quick Spa in Toronto, Canada

Alma Natural Quick Spa: Affordable Organic Luxury in Toronto

Many of us who choose to follow a natural lifestyle have to make certain sacrifices. If you are trying to avoid toxic substances, treating yourself to a manicure at a nail salon tends to be out of the question.  Conventional nail care products contain harsh chemicals like Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde, and toluene.

Alma Natural Quick Spa, which recently opened in Toronto, Canada, provides a solution to the health-savvy customer who still values being well groomed. Focused on the ‘essential services’ – manicures, pedicures, and waxing – Alma uses all natural, non-toxic, eco-friendly products that are actually good for your skin.

Owner Katie Grennan, who has a background in Chemical Engineering makes many of the products used in the treatments in house. Their lotion is made from shea butter, jojoba oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and vitamin E. It is literally good enough to eat.

Quality is not sacrificed when opting for more natural beauty products. The soy-based nail polish remover is just as effective as it’s potent conventional counterpart, and the non toxic nail polish comes in a wide variety of shades and stays put longer than your average manicure!

Alma is the Spanish word for “soul” and it is easy to see that this trail-blazing spa has a lot of it. Highly skilled estheticians are clearly passionate about what they do and incredibly knowledgeable about the products they use.

Often, we expect to pay more for making a healthier choice. At Alma Natural Quick Spa – this isn’t the case. The cost of services is incredibly competitive and in our opinion, totally worth it. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience relaxing and comfortable – from offering you a selection of delicious loose leaf teas, to treating you to a relaxing shoulder massage while your polish dries.

We LOVED our experience at Alma Natural Quick Spa and encourage anyone in the Toronto area to check it out – it is worth the trip. Alma Natural Quick Spa is Naturally Savvy Approved. TM
