Pink Power Smoothie

When you are looking for a healthy energy boost, this is a great option. This smoothie has fermented beet powder which is excellent for supporting your microbiome. Plus, the fermentation process also makes the nutrients more bioavailable. Beets are also rich in nitric oxide, which is great for blood vessel health and lowering blood pressure. They are known to enhance athletic performance as well. We mixed in with raspberries and strawberries for their antioxidants and nondairy beverage for a smooth taste and lovely pink color.

Ingredients:

1 scoop fermented beet powder (we love the Fermented Red Beet Powder from New Roots Herbal)
1 cup of frozen strawberries and raspberries
1 cup non-dairy beverage

Directions:

Combine the beet powder, strawberries, raspberries, and non-dairy beverage in a blend and mix until smooth. You can add a bit of water if it is too thick.
