Trail mixes are a great snack as well. You can add a variety of items to trail mixes like nuts, raisins, and other dried fruit. If you're in the clear with regards to any nut allergies, almond butter is a yummy calorie-rich alternative to peanut butter that is loaded with heart healthy fats. Try putting some on a slice of whole grain bread for a snack that's sure to keep you satisfied until your next meal.
