With rising temperatures, staying hydrated and cooling off are big priorities. Kids love fancy colored drinks that might not be so good for them (ie Slushies or Frosties). Here is a great way to get some fruit and hydration for kids and adults alike, Raspberry Frozen Iced Tea.
Ingredients
8 bags of Bigelow Red Raspberry Herbal Tea
6 cups boiled water
2 cups frozen raspberries
2 cups of ice cubes
sprigs of mint (optional)
Directions
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep, stirring twice, for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags and let the tea cool.
- In a blender, purée the raspberries, the cooled tea, and ice until smooth. Transfer to glasses and enjoy.
You can take some of the frozen berries and add them to your ice cube trays to add to the iced tea when serving.
