Drain cherries, reserving juice.

Coarsely chop cherries, set aside cherries and juice.

In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

In another bowl, beat eggs and cherry juice.

Stir into dry ingredients just unil combined.

Fold in walnuts, coconut and cherries.

Transfer to two greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pans.

Bake at 350? for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.

Makes 2 loaves.

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 eggs

1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts

1 cup flaked coconut
