Bake in 3 greased loaf pans.

Bake at 350 F for 40- 45 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups vegetable shortening

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

4 eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla ( I use good Mexican)

2 cups mashed ripe bananas

2 cups whole wheat flour ( Can use white as well)

1 1/2 cups white flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup pecans (optional)

1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
