Smoothies are my go-to weekday breakfast. I like to prep them in single-serving bags ahead of time so I can just pop them in the blender and head out the door. The combination of mango and mint in this smoothie is creamy, cooling, and a great way to start the day. I'll also have this during the day if my stomach is a little upset or I'm feeling bloated.
I add in things like hemp hearts, flaxseed, and chia seeds, but you could also use your favorite protein powder as well.
Ingredients
1 cup mango, fresh or frozen
1 cup coconut water
1 handful greens (spinach, kale, mixed greens)
5-10 fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp hemp hearts (optional)
2 tbsp ground flaxseed (optional)
2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
Directions
Combine everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Add 1/4 cup of water if necessary.
