1 onions, chopped

3 -4 potatoes, diced

1 stalk celery, chopped

3 -4 carrots, chopped

1/2 head cabbage, shredded

1 (46 ounce) cans tomato juice or 1 (46 ounce) cans V8 vegetable juice

1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix

salt and pepper
