If you're looking for a great seafood meal tonight, look no further than this killer shrimp recipe! These shrimp are marinated in tandoori masala for a spicy kick and are great served alongside chickpeas. I hope you enjoy them!
Ingredients:
2 cups organic fat free plain yogurt
3 tablespoons of tandoori masala
1.5 tablespoons dried cumin
1.5 tablespoons mild curry powder
1/4 cup of fresh cilantro along with 5 garlic cloves – run through a chopper (food processor) together
2 tablespoons lemon juice
At least 30 minutes before the meal, mix this marinade together and add
it to a bag of shrimp with the shells removed. Any size large enough for the
BBQ will do.
On the side I took whole shitake mushrooms and a can of chickpeas and
dusted them in cumin and curry powder, and then drizzled olive oil over them.
You can barbecue them on the side as well.
