
Tuna is a great way to get a quick dinner on the table with protein and omega-3's. Coconut Oil is also cleaner and healthier than other oils.
Ingredients:
- 2 can of tuna [in water]
- 2 eggs
- ½ onion diced
- ½ bell pepper diced [any color you fancy]
- ½ of a tomato dices
- 1 pinch of dried oregano
- ½ lime
- 1 small green chilli or 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 cup of bread crumbs
- Himalayan rock salt to taste [or Celtic sea salt]
- Black pepper
- Coconut oil
Steps/Methods:
Dice the vegetables into very small pieces.
Beat 1 egg in a small bowl and add salt to it. Keep it separate.
On a flat plate spread the breadcrumbs.
In a larger bowl mix all ingredients [including the other egg except oil, salt and black pepper] with your hands [Give love to the food by using your hands]. Add the salt and pepper now and mix well again.
In a frying pan add coconut oil [you are not deep frying so only put enough oil to cover the pan]. Make small patties of tuna and dip the kebab or patty into the egg bowl.
Then cover the kebab with bread crumbs and set aside. Once you complete six pieces fry them together.
Cook for 4-5 minutes each side. You may see bubbles on the pan due to the egg and bread crumbs.
