As the temperature warms up, we look for healthier treats to cool us off! This dessert is vegan, dairy-free, heart-healthy and delicious.
Ingredients for the berry nice-cream
2 Tbsp Walnuts
3 Tbsp Coconut butter
2 Cup Mixed frozen berries
1 Lg Frozen banana, chopped
1/3 Cup Frozen avocado, diced
2 Tbsp Coconut cream
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup, adjust to taste (add a little more for a sweeter dessert)
Directions to make nice-cream
- Add walnuts and coconut butter in a food processor with a metal blade.
- Process on highest speed for 30 seconds, or until walnuts are broken down and make a paste.
- Add all remaining ingredients in food processor and process on highest speed for 30 – 60 seconds (scraping down sides as you go), until all ingredients come together and you have a nice and creamy “nice-cream”.
